Hi! I wondering what magazine you have that has an article about the gremlins? I haven't heard anything new about them. Thank you! (Your blog background is adorable btw ;) )

Hello, dear! The magazine I just purchased was “Hogan’s Alley: The Magazine of the Cartoon Arts No.15”, published in 2007. It contains a twelve page article discussing the Disney Gremlins which I did quite enjoy reading. However, I feel I should mention that if you are looking for information about the Gremlin lore or newer information about their species, this article will probably not be the most informative in that regard. This article mainly focuses on the details behind why the Gremlin film was never made, a little on the history of the era and the gremlins, and the various complications faced between Walt Disney, Roald Dahl and the R.A.F., among the other influences which led to the eventual abandonment of the film. Although this article goes into much greater detail, it covers the same basic information as the added introduction in the reprint of Roald Dahl’s “The Gremlins”. It was an excellent read though, from which I did learn some information about gremlins that I had not known before, and there is some nice black and white artwork shown, so personally I am quite pleased with the purchase.

And thank you! My background is a scan of the inside cover of “The Gremlins” which I altered the colours of in photoshop. I am glad you like it. ^^

So earlier today, the new magazine I bought that contains a long article about the Disney Gremlins arrived, and only a few pages in, I have already learned a couple things I did not know. This has already proven to be an excellent buy, and a great addition to my collection! :D

Any regrets?
Not anymore.

I have to say my pin collection has grown so much this year and this is the latest addition.
So I hope you still have some Easter spirit left for this one!

The pin itself is just gorgeous and really big too.
It features a bunch of Disney rabbits painting eggs for this wreath.

And with this we’ll kick off cutiepatootie Thursday today!

I know I have not been as active on this blog for a while, for which I do apologize, however I am hoping to get things up and running again soon. I have recently returned from my trip to DisneyWorld and have many pictures and stories to share, as well as quite a pile of new Oswald and Disney merchandise. I plan to queue up some of my photographs of the parks, character interactions, and my Disneybounds, as well as photograph my new merchandise and items I have been collecting between the time I became less active here and now.

If all goes according to plan, this blog will be back up by the end of the week. :)

I wish I could find more screencaps.  Okay, say what you want about Epic Mickey.  Yeah, people wanted it to be darker, but come on, it’s a Disney game ultimately, we all know that they couldn’t go to certain levels…  But Mickey Junk Mountain is, by far, one of the creepiest parts of this game so far.  Basically, the designers took as much Mickey Mouse merchandise and threw it all in a pile in this world, and set fire to it, putting Dip from Who Framed Roger Rabbit in a waterfall around it.  Seriously, this level looks like something out of a creepy pasta.
